
General Meeting
Sparebanken Vest is organised in accordance with the Norwegian Financial Institutions Act. Its supreme body is the General Meeting (previously the Supervisory Board).
The General Meeting of Sparebanken Vest has 48 members and 24 deputy members, composed of representatives elected by customers, the public sector (the City of Bergen and the county councils of Hordaland, Sogn og Fjordane and Rogaland), equity certificate holders and employees. The customers elect 16 members and 8 deputy members divided by election districts.
The tasks of the General Meeting include adoption of the bank’s Articles of Association, approval of the annual accounts, allocation of the profit and election of the Board and nomination committees.
